Team Biden's Obama 2.0 Won't Strengthen Our Foreign Policy

Since being sworn in as our 46th president on Jan. 20, 2021, Joseph Robinette Biden has signed an unprecedented number of executive orders, some of which directly impact America’s economic and foreign policy stances.

Will the Biden administration and its associated "progressive movement" be able to keep our foreign adversaries at bay?

An equally important question, are our allies strong?

Regardless of who occupies the White House, our allies and foes alike still look to America prior to making their major decisions; they do so to determine our stability, economic health, and military capabilities.

The Trump administration made tremendous foreign policy achievements through the efforts of leaders, like former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who assisted others in achieving major diplomatic advances in the Mideast while holding China’s Communist Party accountable for human rights abuses.

During the Trump administration, our intelligence community and, in particular, the Department of Defense, resumed efforts to eliminate terrorist groups responsible for the direct targeting of Americans abroad.

These same terrorist groups threaten the stability of many U.S.-friendly sovereign nations.

The fact that United States did not engage in any "new wars" during Presdient Trump's tenure speaks volumes.

Our new Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has announced that the Biden team is not opposed to rejoining the failed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as U.N. Security resolution 2231.

What will this mean for the people of Iraq, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, where Iran continues to fund proxy militias to launch terrorism?

Concurrently, President Biden is discussing potential amnesty for illegal immigrants, even as many progressive movement politicians take offense to the term "alien," while wanting to proceed with their "cancel culture" ethos.

There are hundreds of thousands of aliens amassing at our borders, most if not all believing that President Biden will make them American citizens if they are in the U.S. for a 100-day period.

As a result of Biden defunding border security measures, 11 Iranian nationals have already been captured in the first 30 days of this year.

This is indicative of both illegal immigrants and our global foes regard our porous border and tepid security measures as an opportunity for activities wholly detrimental to our national security.

Our nationa's 46th commander in chief has also decided to cancel further border wall construction at our southern border, while building a wall around the U.S. Capitol.

If a wall around the Capitol keeps our lawmakers safe, doesn’t a wall at our southern border keep America safe?

Recall that it was the Obama administration that put billions of dollars into the Iranian regime’s hands, helping Iran ramp up its malevolent activities and further its nuclear program.

A program now reportedly having12-times the allowable amount of enriched uranium under the (JCPOA).

Iran promoted attacks against U.S. and U.S-friendly targets in Iraq using former Quds Force commander, Qasem Soleimani's proxy forces; that is, until he was eliminated in a successful counterterrorism-strike near the Baghdad, Iraq airport on Jan. 3, 2020.

The Biden administration and many of its self-proclaimed "democratic socialist" officials are prioritizing free hand-outs, attempting to undue most of the Trump administration’s policies, while focusing attention on another impeachment trial and, of course, identity politics.

Meanwhile, there has been little, if any, effort by the Biden administration to support our friends in Iraq, to discuss China’s violation of Hong Kong’s unique freedoms, to look at Big Tech’s censorship — or to discuss Iranian aggression abroad.

Exacerbating this lack of attention, Team Biden canceled 11,000 future jobs and further energy independence with the Keystone XL pipeline, thereby guaranteeing our reliance on foreign oil and OPEC.

The Biden administration’s focus on climate change, and fiscally irresponsible trillion-dollar "relief" bills limits the bandwidth of lawmakers and executive officers to focus on continuing the development of an Arab coalition to help stabilize the region that's been at war for decades.

Will the Biden administration, which thus far looks to be "Obama 2.0," strengthen any of our foreign policies?

Will the Biden administration be tough on Russia’s Vladimir Putin?

Will Iran’s sinister activities in numerous sovereign nations be met with the same level of action to make our stance on terrorism firmly understood?

Furthermore, will China be given a free pass on their human rights abuse on the Uighur people, Tibet, and Taiwan be met with stern sanctions and global response(s)?

These are some of the foreign policy questions Americans, as well as our allies and our adversaries, are more than rightfully asking.

In the end, the overarching question is this: Will President Biden be distracted by the identity political needs and demands of the progressive movement in the Democratic Party, or will President Biden be a leader at home and abroad.

The extent to which he succeeds abroad will determine if our adversaries are held accountable for the actions they are undertaking to harm our people whom President Biden is now responsible for protecting.

"We the People" expect a team of government leaders that defeat our adversaries; not work in their best interests.

If we can achieve that, we will remain a great nation.

President Biden has the opportunity to achieve this, and more.
